Animated opener video and graphics for Næringslivslunsjen. I created the visuals from beginning to end, including creating the main design, modeling, animation, lighting, rendering, and editing. Music is by Raymond Enoksen.
Næringslivslunsjen is the name of a local business lunch which is held at regular intervals every year. Hosted by Mosjøen Næringsforening, members are invited to various presentations and discussions regarding local business in and surrounding Mosjøen.

How it was made
Deliverables consisted of the Intro video as well as a high-resolution still with room on the bottom for logos and sponsors. The video can seamlessly cut/fade to the still, as well as loop.
I started by creating the main image. I gathered inspiration from trends in minimalistic motion design and 3D, based on rather simple and semi-abstract geometric shapes/models. Pairing this with photorealistic lighting and materials and strong use of color created the foundation for the look and design.
Everything was modeled using Maya and rendered with Redshift. After Effects as used for simple compositing and tonemapping.
The red ball/sphere is just a simple roll and translate rig, which was mostly hand-animated. The falling cups was animated using an RBD-simulation.
